Welcome to Kahu Designs!

Kahu Designs features hand-made jewelry creations designed by Kim Meyer of Morro Bay, California. She uses sea glass and stones collected from beaches along the California central coast and Hawaii, and maintains each piece in its original condition.

To provide an illuminating background for the natural colors she uses sterling silver to create bracelets, necklaces, pendants, pins and earrings.  She starts with the finest beach glass, sterling silver findings, and unique clasps and then carefully crafts a unique piece of jewelry.

We occasionally sell some pieces at our eBay store, however we prefer to customize pieces for your individual taste or your special event.  Although each piece is unique, we can craft matching sets for special events.

The name "Kahu Designs" came from the wonderful cat we rescued many years ago, Kahu.  "Kahu" is a Hawaiian word for "guardian" or "priest", and as our cat helps guard our home, we hope that our art will help guide and guard you through the journey of life.  A portion of our sales helps support local no-kill animal shelters.
